Creating a Writing Life is a series of events aimed at empowering writers to bring forth their natural literary gifts. Creating a dialogue through classes, workshops and retreats, writers have the opportunity to connect with other writers, learn how good writing becomes great, how to move into the world of publishing and create a plan that will transform their dream into reality. Enrollment for all events is limited to provide a supportive, personal experience.

Creating a Writing Life Course

Have you always wanted to write but were afraid you weren’t a “real” writer? Have you thought you needed the perfect time and space before you can write? Are you waiting for that year off on a desert island to connect with your inner literary spirit? Wait no more! This course offers support and encouragement along with the ways and means of getting your articles/poetry published as a freelance writer. Inexperienced, as well as experienced writers in process, are welcome. The instructor offers guidance and inspiration, as one who not only knows the journey of following a dream, but recognizes that deep within many of us, is a passion to pursue the writing life. Creating a Writing Life II can be offered immediately following this course.

Creating a Writing Life Retreat

Retreats are day long events that empower writers, invite creativity and offer much needed time for understanding and reflection. Connect with other writers and with nature, nurturing the soul work that is writing. Explore ways to delve deeper into the dream of creating a writing life, exchange ideas and make time to honor your passion for writing. Retreats include breakfast or a.m. refreshments and lunch. A guest speaker will give a special presentation. We will write, share our work, have fun and celebrate the writing life. Retreats will be offered several times throughout the year at various locations throughout New England.
